How to Apply
Through a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NFO) issued on May 4, 2016, the US Government CEFF-CCA Initiative, managed by USAID, USTDA, OPIC, and the US State Department, is soliciting responses from interested parties to undertake project development activities for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. This NFO will remain open until March 31, 2017, or until funds have been completely allocated. Activities funded by the grant should be concluded within 6-12 months. The overall CEFF-CCA grant pool ceiling is $10 million. Responses to the NFO will be reviewed on a rolling basis, through the following three-step process:
- Application Development. Applicants will develop project profiles in response to the NFO and present them for consideration on a rolling basis.
- Initial Screening. Based on the CEFF-CCA eligibility criteria detailed in Attachment 3 of the NFO, NFO project profiles will be referred to the stakeholder agencies noted above for further consideration for grant support.
- Full Application Process. A stakeholder agency will take the lead on a particular project, and direct applicants in its full application process. Each agency will follow its own full application process.
